Why Native iPad Apps?

MOUNTAIN LAKES, NJ, August 7, 2013Red Oak Software, Inc.,a leader in Application Integration solutions, announced that it has entered into a material agreement with a major North American telecommunications company. Revenue from the recently signed contract will be recognized in the current and future quarters.

As with companies in most industries, telecommunications providers can gain a significant competitive edge by providing superior customer service. The company sought a solution that would allow it to quickly develop new applications and improve service to their customers while at the same time reducing operational costs. The agreement is a significant extension of a contract in place since 2007 for the use of Red Oak's Legacy Integrator suite of products.

In implementing Legacy Integrator, the company has deployed numerous enterprise-class solutions over the years that automate the rapid development and deployment of legacy transactions. This agreement further expands their use of an industry-leading solution that has been delivering value for over a decade to some of the world's largest organizations.

The telecom company will be able to further simplify, automate and integrate customer processes. This will reduce costs while providing better access to application functionality and the data needed to drive more profitable interactions while delivering a superior customer experience.

"In addition to our integration solutions for healthcare, insurance and financial services, we continue to see significant interest from the telecommunications sector," said George Cummings, CEO of Red Oak. "This is a substantial contract with an industry leader that follows similar investments in our technology by other large telecom providers. This industry vertical has a strong focus on enhancing the customer experience, improving overall customer service and increasing selling opportunities. All of these are goals can be successfully reached utilizing Red Oak solutions and expertise."
